Cut IP Costs, Reduce IP Load

This client approached us for help in getting the IP Program under control. The moderate size patent portfolio was multiplying by the month with an active Continuation practice spinning-off new applications weekly, at a pace way beyond the organization’s budget and time. We spent 2 months mapping, ordering and tracking the client’s IP activities and expenses and were able to offer a plan: first aid paralegal and IP cost control support, together with IP consulting on-demand, managed through a series of periodic IP decision making conference calls. After an additional 3 months, the CTO was able to calmly return to leading the product development, with not much more than 2 hours a week of investment in IP management, and the IP expenses were been reduced by 20-40% monthly.
